As a member....
ABC will actively promote your company to construction users at both the chapter
and national level. The National office in Washington D.C. maintains
computerized profiles of member companies and provides them to construction
users for specific projects.
As a member....
ABC National and the Northern Ohio
Chapter will provide labor relations information and assistance specially
tailored to your firm, regardless of its size or type. All members receive
a FREE, initial consultation with chapter attorneys on any new legal issue.
ABC offers your company the flexibility to respond with training and/or
consulting on almost any topic that effects your business.
As a member....
Your voice will be heard in city,
state and federal governments. ABC serves as the spokesman for your
company, protecting your rights in legislative and regulatory areas. Ohio
ABC, the government affairs arm of the three ABC chapters in Ohio, stands right
by your side during any legislative issue that effects our industry.
As a member....
Your company will have access to a
comprehensive, highly-acclaimed craft-training program. Approved by the
U.S. Department of Labor and the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, ABC's craft
training program covers 16 separate crafts that can be used in a "learn as you
earn" task-oriented program. At ABC we are training tomorrow's workforce
today!

You'll receive chapter and national
publications, newsletters, special bulletins and directories that will keep you
informed on matters of critical importance in Merit Construction. You'll
meet and work with other members during chapter meetings and social events.

Your company will have access to monthly
safety training classes. In conjunction with our safety consultant, CORE
Safety Network, ABC takes your company's safety seriously. FREE safety
talk CD's are available to members, which are perfect for paycheck stuffers and
and safety meetings. The
OSHA Preferred Partner Program,
a Northern Ohio ABC exclusive, is available to those members with a true
commitment to safety. All of your company's safety needs are available
through one source: ABC.

Your company has the opportunity to
participate in
ABC Group Rating,
a plan development by Northern Ohio ABC.
ABC Group Rating
will help lower your workers' compensation costs, reduce the time spent
administering your claims and help improve your company's safety record.
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation now requires all contractors bidding
state work to have a Drug-Free Workplace Program. If your company does not
have a program, ABC can help.
