Apprenticeship/Craft Training

The Northern Ohio Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is committed to training tomorrows workforce today by offering:

  • A Federal and State approved Apprenticeship Program

  • Fully Accredited Program by the National Center for Construction Education and Research

  • Certification in 18 trades, including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Carpentry

Along with Craft Training, we offer continuing education classes throughout the year, including:

Most of these classes are approved for Continuing Education Credits through the O.C.I.E.B.

Northern Ohio ABC is committed to the promotion of extensive safety training for the construction industry.  Under the direction of an industry driven safety committee, we provide members with:

Workers' Compensation

ABC Group Rating is a plan formed by the Northern Ohio Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors to help lower your workers compensation rates, reduce the time spent in administering your claims and increase safety awareness.

ABC Group Rating members have experienced up to 80% savings in workers compensation premiums.  This is achieved by pulling together safety conscious companies claims experience to reduce premiums.

The Group Rating Program is administered by Ross, Brittain & Schonberg Co., LPA.
