ABC Members Can Use TechCred Funding for Construction Craft Training
TechCred helps businesses upskill their current and incoming workforce with tech-focused credentials. Businesses can receive up to $2,000 for each tech-focused credential earned, up to $30,000 per employer each application period.
The most recent TechCred application period closed at the end of October. During this round, 246 Ohio employers were approved for funding, resulting in Ohio employees earning up to 3,164 technology-focused credentials. This round marks a milestone as funding for the program has been approved for over 15,000 credentials.
Since the program’s start ABC members have been approved for funding, supporting the earning of tech-focused credentials by Ohio employees.
ABC Members with employees who have completed their TechCred training are reminded to submit proof of credential completion to receive reimbursement at TechCred.Ohio.gov
Build Your Future Scholarship
10 scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded annually.
Only one application per student per calendar year will be accepted.
Past scholarship recipients are ineligible. All payments will be made directly to the recipient’s school.
Applicants must be pursuing craft professional training in the construction industry through a NCCER accredited program or a state / federally approved apprenticeship program in a merit-shop training facility.
